Watching video Tuấn Ngọc in Việt Nam, other than the local singers, the best performance I have ever seen from Tuấn Ngọc. Sure he sang all the old songs, but that is what he does best! Plus, the live singing, true voice without any special effect!
Another thing I want to point out was I am not sure the band (saxophonist and pianist) are from the US or local. If they were local musicians then their talent is up to the standard!=D>
I like them because they played my kind the music....Smooth Jazz!
Here is the clip to prove.... Special thanks to Captain Iflyx5!!!

The singer at the beginning of that video (forgot her name), the one who always sings Trinh Cong Son's songs, was terrible. I guess she tried to imitate one of Tuan Ngoc's family members; the oldest one, who sings jazz. Bích Chiêu?

The Quando, Quando duet with Thai Thao and Tuan Ngoc, is similar to the same song by Michael Bublé and Nelly Furtado. Wonder if that's where they got the idea from.

It was so boring at the begining. There was no MC and those local singers all sing 2 songs each with tự biên tự diễn until Tuấn Ngọc showed up. His powerful voice blowed them away!!! :D

That could be since they sang their song.

Tuấn Ngọc is known to be very picky in choosing musicians and his wife's family is already in Vietnam. So the musicans in this DVD must be one the best they could find in Vietnam.
